Insights Discovery
“We’re experiencing a significant business change, and we need some help in stepping up our effectiveness and resilience as a team - to better understand ourselves, our decision / thinking styles, and communications. Ideally a practical approach, using real-world experience, from somebody who really understands our challenges.”
…. a typical request from one of our clients
What is Insights Discovery
Insights Discovery is a simple and accessible four colour psychometric tool, based on Jungian psychology, that helps us to understand ourselves and others (in the work place and outside) - a self-awareness around our preferences and behaviours - how we show up.
The model is based on four colour energies - Cool Blue, Earth Green, Fiery Red, Sunshine Yellow - each represents a certain set of personality preferences and associated behaviour types - the real power comes from the unique ‘colour blend’ we all have.
Insights Discovery gives teams a shared language to talk about how they work - and how they could work better. It makes communication and decision-making challenges visible without blame, and helps people understand each other’s preferences, strengths, and stress points.
| Fiery Red | Cool Blue | Sunshine Yellow | Earth Green

The Insights Discovery model describes eight personality types, based on a mix of introversion, extraversion, thinking, feeling, sensing or intuition - each type reflects a particular focus in how we think, feel, communicate, and make decisions:
The Eight Types
Director : Decisive, structured, and focused on results
Motivator : Energetic, positive thinking and visionary
Inspirer : Warm, expressive, and people-focused
Helper : Friendly, caring, and grounded
Supporter : Reliable, patient, and empathetic
Coordinator : Quiet, observant, and values-led
Observer : Analytical and precise
Reformer : Strategic and independent
Each person completes a short, 20-minute / 30-question, online evaluator, and receives a personalised Insights Discovery Personal Profile - highlighting strengths, communication style, blind spots, and ways to grow.
The individual profile is based on your unique blend of colour energy preferences - which can be seen in a simple bar chart, and with a plot of your exact profile location on the Insights Wheel (there are 72 locations possible based on the exact order of your preferences and the number above the line).
At a team level, as part of an Insights Discovery Foundation, we explore how different preferences and styles show up - where things click, and where they clash - and how to flex and adapt in real time, for better collaborations and connections.
Team-based Insights Discovery Workshops can be used focus on four key aspects of performance and skills: Personal Effectiveness / Team Effectiveness / Transformational Leadership / Commercial / Sales Skills.
Bespoke training can also be developed, focusing on very specific performance challenges; for example, stress management, effective meetings, or client relationships challenges.
